The MPGA has been providing the Propane Emergency Response Training (PERT) program to Michigan’s first responders for nearly 20 years. Over 10,000 fire fighters and law enforcement have been certified in PERT. 

Like all fuels, each one has unique properties, including propane. This state-of-the-art training is offered throughout the state free of charge. 

The MPGA takes a proactive approach to safety collaborating with the State Fire Marshall, the state’s 970 registered fire departments as well as the Michigan State Police.
